Why we keep stuff

Last updated on

Yesterday I reached for a perfume bottle with just a few sprays left in it, and then stopped myself from using it because if I used it, then it would be gone. I had to laugh when I realized that I’ve been doing that very same thing daily for at least a year. You see, it’s my favorite perfume, I wore it for years. Sadly they quit making it in 2004, and I wasn’t ready to let go of it. In 2007, a client had a bottle of it that she no longer wanted and so she offered it to… read more »

Clutter represents delayed decisions

Last updated on

This is the most eye opening statement that I share with my clients. It’s true! Clutter is nothing but delayed decisions. I know we are all busy and just don’t feel like we have the time to tackle our clutter. The Stuff Stop®. is a FREE nationwide community resource that helps people dispose of the things they no longer need, use or love in a responsible,… read more »

I think part of the reason they aren’t used is that they come in a perfect little “pen set box” and so people think they have to keep them in their box. Since they’re in their pretty little “pen set box”, no one ever thinks to… read more »
