Winter storm warning

We’re expecting a big storm in St Louis today. This is another situation where it pays to be organized and all it takes is a little planning ahead. Make sure your wiper washer fluid and gas tank is full in your car. Keep an ice scraper, bag of kitty litter (for traction in case you car get stuck) and blanket in your car. Have a snow shovel and salt handy. Have a well-stocked refrigerator.

Christmas gifts

I had a fantastic Christmas, and hope that you did too. Before things get back to normal, it’s important to find a spot for all of the things you want to return or exchange to land. Answer the phone!

At Simplified Living Solutions, we get so many phone calls that it’s hard to keep up with them. If I had to pick the hardest park of owning and running this business, it would be trying to return all of the phone calls when time allows. Although I keep very detailed notes of who called, I don’t always keep notes of when, or if, I called them back. Eventually those needed calls drop completely off the radar at times. Planning will get you places

I’ve been spending alot of time working on next year’s budget, marketing strategies and business plan. To be honest, it’s a lot of work.
