At Simplified Living Solutions, we get so many phone calls that it’s hard to keep up with them. If I had to pick the hardest park of owning and running this business, it would be trying to return all of the phone calls when time allows.
Although I keep very detailed notes of who called, I don’t always keep notes of when, or if, I called them back. Eventually those needed calls drop completely off the radar at times.
I have finally found, and invested, in a product that I think is going to be the perfect solution for me. It’s the Office Depot Inbound/Outbound Call Register. It’s an 8 1/2 × 11 spiral bound notebook with one side devoted to inbound calls and the other side devoted to outbound calls.
Now I know that not every cute little organizing product is going to solve your issue, and so rather than rushing in and buying this notebook. I thought about it for a couple of weeks. I tried to figure out why I thought it would, or wouldn’t, work. I think it will work because the pages are going to be very easily managed because there isn’t a really strict format to the notes you have to keep. Yet it ensures that every call is returned, I’ll have detailed notes of every call we make or receive and I’ll also have a hard copy history of any of that. Wish me luck.
