As you may have noticed, I have not been very good at blogging each and every day. Sometimes I don’t even blog once a week.
As a small business owner I realize the importance of blogging, and the need to do it consistently. However, in my work as a Certified Professional Organizer, CPO® I help people manage and prioritize things in their lives. I teach them that we have to make decisions on things we can let go of. I know that we can’t always do everything we want to do or would do in a perfect world.
We have to get clear on what we want our life to look like. We have to decide how much time we want to spend on work, family or other obligations. We also have to admit to ourselves that we can only get so much done.
Because I took the time to get clear on what I want my life to look like, I know that my priority is to be working hands-on with clients helping them organize their home, office and life. Since I spend most of my time doing just that I don’t always have as much time as I need to hang out in the office blogging.
To compensate for not having a daily blog post, I have made sure to post daily organizing tips to SLS’s Facebook, Twitter and Linked In pages. Be sure to connect with us at these other social media sites.
